Viktoriastraße 19

The company Kreizner & Hatzmann was responsible for putting up the building at Viktoriastraße 19 in 1871/72. Two years previously, Friedrich Hatzmann and Joseph Kreizner purchased the building site, keeping only one-third of it for themselves. The Höppli Workshop, a Classicist building outfitted with larger-than-life caryatids which the two building contractors had built at Viktoriastraße 13 (today 19), was sold in 1872. The building designed as a single-family dwelling was transformed into a series of single-floor flats around 1936.

While the villa itself was only lightly damaged by the destruction of the Second World War, the depot and stall buildings in the back of the parcel did not survive the bombing raids.
