A total of 16 circus characters can be admired and discovered this year. Highlights include, among others, a clown over three meters tall, a five-meter-long elephant, a tiger jumping through a hoop, a five-meter-high acrobatic pyramid, and an oversized fire-eater. A rabbit conjured from a top hat is also part of the circus world.

There is a stamp station at each figure. This allows visitors to go on a stamp hunt not only in the corn maze but also in the pumpkin adventure world. Another eye-catcher awaits right at the parking lot: the pumpkin over three meters tall, which welcomed guests last year as well, is back again.

There are also new and tried-and-true attractions around the corn maze this year. The large bouncy cushion and the straw bounce house are still part of the lineup. The straw bounce house is now better protected from wind and weather by a large star-shaped tent and also features two five-meter-long slides.

A classic favorite is the corn swimming pool. With more than 25,000 kilograms of corn, it’s even bigger this year and invites children and adults alike to take a dip.

New additions include a barefoot trail, an 8-by-12-meter pumpkin bouncy cushion, a six-meter-long pumpkin tunnel, a large pumpkin heart, and a rainbow made of pumpkins. Guests can also get creative themselves by carving pumpkins. The pumpkins are professionally hollowed out before purchase, so visitors can focus entirely on carving.

The corn maze also reflects this year’s theme. About 333,000 corn plants grow across an area of approximately 32,000 square meters. The network of paths is more than 3,300 meters long. Using modern GPS technology, the circus-themed design was laid out as early as the sowing stage. A GPS-guided seed drill planted the corn seeds precisely in areas where paths were not to be created later.

On Paul’s farm, the pumpkin plays a starring role not only as decoration but also finds its way onto plates and into cups. Among the classics are pumpkin soup, pumpkin bratwurst, and pumpkin fries made from pumpkins grown on the farm. Green Hokkaido squash is used for the fries, as its higher starch content makes it particularly well-suited for this purpose. New this year is a specially developed pumpkin fry seasoning. Pumpkin chili, pumpkin waffles, and roasted pumpkin seeds in various flavors are also back on the menu. Rounding out the offerings are chocolate-covered strawberries from the farm’s own fields, fresh popcorn, and pumpkin spice cake.

When darkness falls, the adventure world takes on a special charm. During the popular “Funzelgänge” (glow-in-the-dark walks), visitors can set out in the dark to find the seven stations in the corn maze. At the same time, the large pumpkin figures are illuminated, creating a special atmosphere. The first “Funzelgänge” will take place on September 19 and 20. Additional dates, as well as the Halloween Nights, will be announced on Paul’s Farm’s website and social media channels.
