Reading party at the Literaturhaus
On Saturday, November 8, the Literaturhaus invites you to a reading party in the Villa Clementine from 7 p.m. to browse together and chat in a relaxed atmosphere on the Beletage.
Those interested and reading enthusiasts can concentrate on their current readings in the Other, Blue and Red Salon. In between, there is always the opportunity to talk to each other and exchange reading impressions or book tips. The GLYG team led by Annika Wenig will provide drinks and snacks. The reading party is scheduled to end at 10 p.m. Participation is not required for the entire duration and the offer can be used flexibly in terms of time. Admission is free of charge. Pre-registration is not necessary, but the number of places is limited.
The concept of reading parties or "silent reading parties" originated in America and is also very popular here in Germany. The basic idea is to read together in a pleasant atmosphere away from digital distractions and interruptions to everyday life.
