Diverse, dynamic, motivating - Wiesbaden dances

Together with various cooperation partners and national artists, the Wiesbaden dance scene organizes the popular "Wiesbaden tanzt" festival, an event that meets people where they are: In the urban space. 2025 will take place on Friday and Saturday, August 29 and 30.

Dancing people, two women and a man.
Wiesbaden dances again: 2025 on Friday and Saturday, August 29 and 30.

The festival invites all interested parties to discover the Wiesbaden dance scene. With a wide range of hands-on activities in Wiesbaden dance schools, you can shake a leg, learn steps and actively immerse yourself in dance. Performances in public spaces as well as in established and newly developed indoor spaces invite you to watch and linger.

In three containers, on the station forecourt, on Kranzplatz and in Kirchgasse opposite Brillen Bouffier, you can find out about the new Wiesbaden dance collective "Dance Nexus", the festival program or the history of dance in Hesse, view an exhibition of dance photos or dance at the Tik-Tok station. If you still haven't had enough of dance, you can attend the panel discussions or dance into the evening at the parties. School collaborations and community dance projects round off the program and provide low-threshold access to dance as a movement and art form.

2025 Wiesbaden tanzt is supported by the Kulturfonds Frankfurt RheinMain.
