Marcelo Brodsky is one of the most important artists in Latin America today. As a photographer, visual artist and international human rights activist, his work focuses in particular on visual language and memory. The Kunsthaus is showing a selection of his works from March 26 to June 28, 2026.

Human rights violations have been and continue to be a central theme in Marcelo Brodsky's art. Marcelo Brodsky gained international recognition with his series "Buena Memoria" (1997), which deals with the deportation and murder of some of his classmates and his brother Fernando Brodsky during the military dictatorship in Argentina. Further series followed, including "1968 – The Fire of Ideas," "Africa in the Struggle for Freedom," "Migrants," and "Traces of Violence." The Kunsthaus presents a selection of his works. The exhibition is curated by Professor Márcio Seligmann-Silva.

It is being held in cooperation with "MISHPOCHA: The Art of Collaboration" at the Jewish Museum Frankfurt and as part of World Design Capital Frankfurt Rhine-Main 2026.
