Maartje Martisan - Neverending End

We live in a time in which the future feels anything but clear. It can no longer be planned, shows little promise, generates more fear than hope, is nebulous and, even worse, seems to be a terrain of countless uncertainties. We are at a crossroads. Calls for fundamental change are getting louder and louder.

But what should they look like? What kind of new world do we want to create together? What other worlds are even possible? How do we want to live? What do we dream of? What do we wish for?

These are just a few of the questions that the exhibition course of the Wiesbaden Photo Days will address. The selected photo series and video works are intended to question supposed certainties, offer food for thought, raise hopes and open up new horizons.

Extended opening hours apply for this exhibition. You can find more information on the Wiesbadener Fototage website linked below.
