Beat party with Every Wednesday in the Igstadt vicarage

The Wiesbaden beat band "Every Wednesday" will be performing at the Igstadt vicarage on Sunday, August 17 as part of the "Church in the village - culture up close" series organized by the Protestant parish of Igstadt.

Band on stage

Every Wednesday is a band whose roots lie in the 60s and 70s. Under the motto "The beat goes on", the Wiesbaden-based band presents a musical journey through time between Star Club, Beat Club and Woodstock, which gets every rock and oldies heart beating at youthful frequencies again.

The Every Wednesday Beat Express has been touring the Rhine-Main region for 25 years now. Every Wednesday's program includes classics by Beatles, Rolling Stones, Who, Doors, Cream and Small Faces as well as songs by Wonderland, Badfinger, Free, Stealers Wheel and Beat cult songs by Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich, Rattles, Searchers and others.

A unique musical spectrum between sentimental love songs and groovy beat and rock is offered. Special trademarks of Every Wednesday are the polyphonic vocals and distinctive guitar and organ parts in the sound of the sixties.

Anyone who wants to experience the sixties, the beat club and the flower power era "live" once again should not miss Every Wednesday's performance at Pfarrhof Igstadt, especially as the band is on a farewell tour.

In case of bad weather, the event will take place in the parish barn.
