Excellent craftsmanship and innovative design form a skillful symbiosis in the Hessian Design Award. The competition is organized every two years by one of the three Hessian Chambers of Crafts - this year by Wiesbaden. One winner will be chosen for each of the four categories Furniture + Sculpture, Fashion + Accessories, Jewelry + Appliance and Living + Living (2,000 euros per category). In addition, a journeyman's prize and a young talent prize (1,000 euros each) will be awarded.

Selected objects from the 19th Hessian Design Award and the winners of the competition will now be presented by the Wiesbaden Chamber of Crafts in an exhibition following the award ceremony, which will also open the exhibition. The objects come from all over Hesse and present a broad spectrum of creative skills from various trades.

The exhibition at the Wiesbaden Chamber of Crafts, Bierstadt Straße 45, is open from Monday to Thursday from 7 am to 5 pm, Friday from 7 am to 2 pm.
