The results of the Cultural Advisory Board election are in

The committee will begin its fourth term in September.

Following the public counting of ballots for the Cultural Advisory Board election on June 23, 2026, the Election Committee confirmed the preliminary results of the election on June 26, 2026. A total of 1,675 citizens voted online for the 13 sector representatives on the Cultural Advisory Board. Accordingly, the following candidates were elected in the respective sectors:

Film, Photography, and Electronic Media Division: Andrea Wink
Music Division: Clemens Bosselmann
Performing Arts Division: Susanne Müller
Visual Arts Division: Titus Grab
Cultural Heritage, City History, and Traditions Division: Dr. Tanja Bernsau
Literature Division: Alexander Pfeiffer
Sociocultural Category: Tatjana Aleksandrovna Schneider
Cross-Category: Dirk Fellinghauer, Francesca Herget, Anja Baumgart-Pietsch, Moritz Buch, Dr. Helmut Müller, Lena Flügge

The CDU, SPD, GRÜNE, AfD, and Die Linke political groups each appoint five members. The seven institutions—Volkshochschule Wiesbaden e.V., the Wiesbaden Chamber of Industry and Commerce,

the Hessian State Theater in Wiesbaden, RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, the Stadtmuseum am Markt (SAM), Museum Wiesbaden—Hessian State Museum of Art and Nature, and the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Murnau Foundation—each appoint one additional member. In accordance with the bylaws, the 25-member Cultural Advisory Board will convene starting September 1.
