International Archive Conference
On May 20, 1958, the Presidium of the International Archive Conference signed the Golden Book of the City of Wiesbaden.
At a reception for the members of the International Archives Conference, City Councillor Drebert focused his speech on the importance of archives for the transmission of the past for the magistrate of the state capital.
This committee, founded by the Director General of the French Archives as the "Table Ronde des Archives", met from May 20 to 22, 1958 with representatives from all over the world in the Brunnenkolonnaden.
In the afternoon of the opening day, the President of the conference, Comte Filangieri, and the Director of the Archives of the Federal Republic of Winter as well as the Head of Archives and Libraries and Archives in the Hessian Ministry of Culture, Sante, signed the Golden Book at a reception hosted by the Magistrate.
