City Archive Wiesbaden

The Wiesbaden City Archive is the municipal archive of the state capital of Wiesbaden and, as a department of the Cultural Office, fulfills the task of preserving Wiesbaden's historical heritage, making it accessible and communicating it comprehensively.

+++ Due to urgent work on the magazine, the reading room will be closed from May 18 to 22, 2026. +++

Use of the reading room

The reading room is open as follows

  • Mondays: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Tuesdays: 9 am to 4 pm
  • Wednesdays: 9 am to 6 pm
  • Thursdays: 12 to 4 p.m.
  • Fridays: closed
