+++Construction work: Use of the reading room in the city archive in August only possible with appointment booking+++

Extensive construction work is currently taking place at the Wiesbaden City Archive, which should significantly improve working and usage conditions from the end of the year. The construction work will lead to noise and dust, including in the user area, and will have an impact on service operations.

Due to this situation and staff shortages, use of the reading room in the Wiesbaden City Archive from August 4 to 31, 2025 is only possible with a prior appointment booking. This must be done at least one week in advance. A place in the reading room can be reserved by e-mail to lesesaal.stadtarchivwiesbadende or by telephone on 0611 313022.

The reading room is open as follows until the construction work is completed:

Tuesdays: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Wednesdays: 9 am to 6 pm

Thursdays: 12 to 4 p.m.

The reading room is closed on Mondays and Fridays.
