"District reading" in the Westend

On Friday, May 29, the reading festival "StadtteilLesen" will take place for the second time. A varied program and lots of stories await you in the Georg-Buch-Haus between 3 and 6 pm.

On May 29, the Georg-Buch-Haus in Westend will become a gathering place for everyone who loves stories:

From 3 to 6 p.m., the “StadtteilLesen” reading festival invites children, teens, and families to a colorful afternoon centered around reading aloud.

Look forward to a varied program featuring readings, picture book theater, a book swap, and many other activities. Whether it’s thrilling adventures, funny stories, or new favorite books—there’s something for everyone here.

There’s a special morning program for daycare groups: You can sign up for readings in advance and dive into the world of stories together.

"StadtteilLesen" is organized by the Wiesbaden Education Office. The festival is supported by numerous dedicated partners, including the AWO Family Education Center, KiEZ Westend, the Wellritzhof Children’s Center, the Wiesbaden City Library, the vhs Wiesbaden / Basic Education Center, and the Office for Social Work.
