The Fasanerie Wiesbaden is more than just a zoo - it is a place of preservation, learning and encounter. Our philosophy is based on a deep respect for nature and the desire to preserve it for future generations. As a recognized Ark Park, we are committed to the preservation of rare and endangered domestic and wild animal breeds. We see ourselves as a sanctuary for these animals, but also as a mediator of their value and importance. Because only by preserving diversity can we also preserve a piece of our own history.

An equally important part of our self-image is nature education. Knowledge creates understanding, and understanding leads to responsibility.
