Gardening in the smallest of spaces - free webinar series

How can you turn a balcony, terrace, or windowsill into a green oasis? In a six-part, free webinar series, organic balcony expert Birgit Schattling demonstrates practical ways to grow vegetables, herbs, and flowering habitats for insects—even in the smallest of spaces. The sessions provide immediately actionable ideas for anyone who wants to make their immediate surroundings more climate-friendly and livable.

In the webinar series, organic balcony expert Birgit Schattling explains how balconies, terraces and windowsills can be turned into green oases - for a more natural experience and harvesting happiness as well as climate and heat protection in the middle of the city.

Even a small space can make a big difference: a balcony, terrace, or even a windowsill can be transformed into a green oasis—with fresh vegetables, fragrant herbs, and valuable habitats for insects and birds.

In six practical webinars, organic balcony expert Birgit Schattling provides clear and motivating guidance on how to garden ecologically in the smallest of spaces – step by step and in tune with the seasons – for greater self-sufficiency, biodiversity, urban nature, and climate and heat protection.

Look forward to inspiring online lectures with impressive images from the organic balcony movement, as well as specific tips that can be implemented immediately – from getting started with gardening in the smallest of spaces, to growing herbs all year round, to growing winter vegetables. Questions can be asked at any time via chat, and will be addressed by the speaker in the webinar.
