Advice and orientation
Employment Agency
The Employment Agency provides basic advice on all issues relating to gainful employment, further training and funding opportunities, unless you are receiving citizen's allowance or other state benefits.

Social benefit and job center / Municipal job center / Municipal employment agency
If you receive a citizen's allowance, your case manager at the social benefits and job center will advise and support you. Here you will receive advice and support on taking up employment or finding suitable qualification and further training measures, courses or financial benefits. If you receive a citizen's allowance and do not have a personal contact person, women can also turn to the equal opportunities officer on the labor market with their questions.

School-leaving qualifications

Re-entry and promotion of qualification and training
There are various funding options for your further training, qualification or retraining - even after a longer break. Depending on the individual requirements, these include, for example, the assumption of course costs, travel costs or subsidies for childcare costs.
Educational support
Depending on your personal requirements, your school education can be financially supported via the Training Assistance Act (BAföG).

Income-related support for further training for career exit through loans or grants
Educational leave
As an employee or trainee, you are entitled to paid time off for individual educational leave. (Prerequisite: The event must be recognized.)
Business start-up
Starting your own business can also be a way of securing your livelihood. Note: If you receive unemployment benefit I or citizen's allowance, you must coordinate your plans with your respective contact person.
