Early support
Early intervention is a service for children with (potential) disabilities between the ages of zero and the start of school.
Early intervention refers to support provided to young children who have a disability or are at risk of developing one. It also helps children who are developing more slowly than other children in certain areas.
Early detection and early intervention are important for preventing impairments or mitigating the consequences of disabilities.
Application forms are available at the respective early intervention centers. The Office of Social Work—Department of Integration Assistance and Participation—decides on eligibility for the assistance, which is provided free of charge.
