The reason for the Summer of Language Education is the cross-institutional professional standard "Language Education and Language Support in Wiesbaden Daycare Centers" adopted in July 2025. The series of events brings its content to life in a practical way, draws on the latest scientific findings, and strengthens the daily work of educational professionals.

The program offers:

• Workshops with plenty of room for practical implementation, experimentation, and reflection
• Specialist lectures on current topics and research findings
• Activities for children from Wiesbaden daycare centers

The Summer of Language Education is scientifically supported by Professor Dr. Timm Albers. In addition, numerous experts and local partners from the fields of culture, education, and practice enrich the program.

The target audience for the series of events includes educational professionals from all daycare centers in Wiesbaden, from child daycare, and from elementary school childcare. Course instructors for parent education and early intervention are also welcome to participate.
