The "Summer of Language Education" is being held in response to the cross-agency professional standard "Language Education and Language Support in Wiesbaden Daycare Centers," which was adopted in July 2025. This series of events brings the standard’s content to life in a practical way, draws on current scientific findings, and supports the daily work of early childhood educators.

The program offers:

• Workshops with plenty of opportunities for practical application, experimentation, and reflection
• Specialized presentations on current topics and research findings
• Activities for children from Wiesbaden daycare centers

Professor Dr. Timm Albers provides the scientific guidance for the Summer of Language Education. In addition, numerous experts and local partners from the fields of culture, education, and practice enrich the program.

Target audience for the event series: We invite early childhood educators from all Wiesbaden daycare centers, family daycare providers, and elementary school after-school care programs. Course leaders in parent education and early intervention programs are also welcome to participate.
