Integration Award

Integration Award

Against the backdrop of social challenges, it is important for the state capital to recognize outstanding commitment to the topic of integration. The integration prize is awarded by the Lord Mayor. Applications were possible until April 30, 2025.

The Integration Prize is endowed with 2,500 euros and has been awarded annually since 2007 to individuals, clubs, associations and other institutions and initiatives from Wiesbaden who have made an extraordinary and special commitment to the integration of people with a history of migration.

All residents of Wiesbaden who have reached the age of 14 are eligible to nominate candidates. Self-applications are possible. The Integration Prize can only be awarded once per project or measure. Application criteria include the pioneering function, the innovative approach and sustainability.

A twelve-member independent jury, consisting of members of the city council, the department responsible for integration, representatives of the Foreigners' Advisory Council, the Protestant and Catholic churches and the Jewish and Islamic communities, among others, decides on the awarding of the Integration Prize.

The awarding of the Integration Prize is carried out by the Lord Mayor.

Application extended until April 30, 2025

Applications can be submitted informally by April 30, 2025 to the Office for Immigration and Integration, Alcide-de-Gasperi-Straße 2, 65197 Wiesbaden by post or by e-mail to integrationwiesbadende.
