There are several bike sharing providers in Wiesbaden.

Nextbike

Based on a cooperation agreement with the AStA of RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, nextbike operates a publicly accessible bike rental system in Wiesbaden.

Around 200 bikes are available in the city, which can be rented via the nextbike app. Students at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences benefit from a special offer: they can use the bikes free of charge for up to 60 minutes per rental.

The offer only includes standard bikes.

myBike from Mainz Mobility

The meinRad bike rental system from Mainzer Mobilität has its main area of operation in the neighboring state capital of Mainz. The service is also available in the Wiesbaden districts of Amöneburg, Kastel and Kostheim.

In addition to standard bikes, the range also includes pedelecs and e-cargo bikes.

They can be rented via the meinRad app.

DB - Call a Bike

The Call a Bike bicycle rental system is a nationwide service offered by Deutsche Bahn. In Wiesbaden, the service is available at Wiesbaden Central Station.

The service only includes standard bikes.

Rental is via the Call a Bike app.

Sigo e-cargo bike sharing

Together with Nassauische Heimstätte Wohnstadt in Wiesbaden, Sigo green offers modern e-cargo bike sharing, which represents a flexible and environmentally friendly mobility alternative for everyday life, leisure and family. The fleet of e-cargo bikes specially developed for sharing is robust, low-maintenance and available at fixed stations with an integrated charging function. The bikes are rented via the Sigo app, which displays available bikes at the stations in real time and can be booked directly.

There are currently six stations in Wiesbaden with a total of 12 e-cargo bikes.

LILJA - cargo bike for Wiesbaden

The sharing service "LILJA - Lastenrad für Wiesbaden" is a free service offered by the ADFC Wiesbaden/Rheingau-Taunus e.V., which provides cargo bikes to borrow free of charge. The focus is on the opportunity to test a sustainable and environmentally friendly form of mobility in an uncomplicated way and integrate it into everyday life

The project promotes the switch from motorized private transport to climate-friendly alternatives and thus supports liveable and sustainable urban development in Wiesbaden.
