The Open Children and Youth Services division of the Social Services Department of the State Capital of Wiesbaden, in collaboration with the Mobile Youth Work Association (Moja e.V.), is hosting the fourth "Basketball 3x3 Night" on Saturday, June 13, starting at 4 p.m. at the Reduit in Kastel.

For the first time, the “Basketball 3x3 Night” will take place as part of the international graffiti festival “Meeting of Styles.” Games will be played in the age groups 12 to 14, 15 to 17, and 18 and older. Eight teams can participate in each age group. The event is aimed at ambitious amateur players. 

The event is being held in cooperation with the Basketball Club Wiesbaden – 1925 e.V. (BCW). The BCW, with its referees, ensures a professional organization. Games will be played according to the official 3x3 basketball rules. The event is also supported by the Hessian Basketball Association e.V. 

For many years, the street soccer tournament has been a successful example of prevention work, encounters and integration. The police, clubs and youth welfare organizations pull together here. The sporting competition in particular creates contacts and friendships that build trust in the long term.

The tournament brings together teams from elementary school, the Wilhelm Leuschner School, the supervising elementary school, school social work, the Reduit children's, youth and district center, the Kastel Housing shared accommodation, the TSG soccer department and self-organized youth groups. The sports program will be accompanied by games and craft activities for children and parents.

TSG 1846 and the Reduit children's, youth and district center, supported by "gesundekids" and Kultur in der Reduit, will provide refreshments.
