The CDU is the strongest parliamentary group in the Wiesbaden City Council. After the 2021 election, it will represent 19 out of 81 city councillors.
Voter turnout in the last general election in 2025 was 79.7 percent.
In the 2023 state election, 184,082 Wiesbaden residents were eligible to vote.
