Logo "Wiesbaden for more biodiversity" - Download and terms of use

Biodiversity in Wiesbaden thrives thanks to the many stakeholders who are committed to promoting it locally. All of these activities contribute to a common goal: to strengthen biodiversity in our city and make it visible.

To support this commitment, the city of Wiesbaden is providing a logo with three motifs – a plant, a garden dormouse, and a bee. This logo can be used to identify projects, initiatives, and events that contribute to the protection and promotion of biodiversity in Wiesbaden. This makes it clear that we are all working toward the same goal.

You are cordially invited to use the logo to raise awareness of the diversity of activities related to biodiversity in Wiesbaden. Please note the following information as a prerequisite for using and downloading the files.

Notes on the use of the logo

The City of Wiesbaden is the owner of the exclusive right to use the "Wiesbaden for more biodiversity" logo. Under the following conditions, you may use the logo - without modification or further processing - within the scope of a simple right of use for reproduction and distribution:

1.1 Non-commercial use

You may use the logo for non-commercial purposes free of charge and without prior permission, provided that you

send a specimen copy to the Environmental Agency of the City of Wiesbaden without being asked or, in the case of online publications, send a link to the website or a screenshot to umweltamtwiesbadende
add a link to the Wiesbaden Biodiversity Strategy website to all online and printed materials (https://www.wiesbaden.de/biodiv).

Non-commercial uses are those that are not for profit, not even for charitable purposes (see 1.2). This can include printed matter or websites that provide information on the topic of biodiversity in Wiesbaden or on related projects, initiatives and events.

1.2 Donation purposes

Even if your publication is aimed at raising funds for activities to promote biodiversity and/or biodiversity strategy in Wiesbaden in the form of donations, we are generally happy to support you. In this case, you may use the logo free of charge if you have obtained prior approval from the Environmental Office of the City of Wiesbaden and, if necessary, have concluded a corresponding license agreement with us. 1.3 Commercial use

If you would like to use our logo in the context of a commercial, i.e. profit-oriented activity, for example on promotional items, products and/or for a print or online medium, in order to make the topic of biodiversity and/or the biodiversity strategy in Wiesbaden known to a wider audience, this requires the prior approval of the Environmental Office of the City of Wiesbaden and, if necessary, the conclusion of a corresponding license agreement.
