Wiesbaden Weeks of Biodiversity: #WieWoBiodiv
Biodiversity is precious and diverse in the truest sense of the word. And so the Wiesbaden Biodiversity Weeks 2026 will once again offer many opportunities to learn, experience and marvel.
The third Wiesbaden Biodiversity Weeks (#WieWoBiodiv) will take place from May 18 to June 14, 2026.
Biodiversity means more than just beautiful flower beds with bees buzzing among colorful flowers. Biodiversity is the variety of species, organisms, and habitats. It is essential for functioning ecosystems and thus the foundation of our lives. It matters to all of us, yet it is often underestimated.
The state capital of Wiesbaden, together with numerous initiatives and nature lovers, invites you to experience biodiversity. Because there is much to discover in and around Wiesbaden as well.
Excursions, tours, lectures, and many other activities invite you to marvel, learn, and get involved. Discover interesting facts about garden dormice, wild bees, orioles, and many other species, as well as how we coexist with them. Learn more about the healing powers of plants and the cultivation of healthy foods.
