Start of the entry-level program ÖKOPROFIT+Klima 2026/2027
Seven companies and organizations are starting the new ÖKOPROFIT+Klima entry-level programme, laying the foundations for environmental and climate management.
Environmental management with extended carbon footprint
Following the successful launch of the ÖKOPROFIT Club with 35 companies, the entry-level program is now entering its 17th project cycle: The kickoff for ÖKOPROFIT+Climate took place on March 11 with seven new participants, alongside the second workshop of the ÖKOPROFIT Club at R + V Versicherungs AG.
A new feature of ÖKOPROFIT+Climate is that participants can create an expanded carbon footprint analysis to contribute to achieving climate goals. Businesses in the advanced ÖKOPROFIT Club network also benefit from this innovation. In addition to measures addressing a wide range of topics related to the environment, energy, and sustainability, businesses can track their key emissions and develop an emissions reduction pathway. Participants receive training in workshops, and individual business consultations accompany the program, offering the opportunity to establish or expand environmental and climate management systems in parallel. Upon successful completion of the approximately one-year program, participants receive the “Wiesbaden ÖKOPROFIT Business” certification.
In this round, the environmental and climate management program is being expanded to include the following participants: In addition to DEURAG Deutsche Rechtsschutz-Versicherung AG and Spielbank Wiesbaden GmbH & Co. KG, Erbslöh Geisenheim GmbH, a company in the beverage technology sector, is participating in ÖKOPROFIT+Klima. Municipal institutions and companies are also represented again, including SEG Wiesbaden mbH, WiBau GmbH, the Department of Economy and Employment, and the Cultural Office with the Kunsthaus.
