Starting in January 2026, electric vehicles will be classified as mobile energy storage devices under the Energy Industry Act: a game-changer for businesses with PV systems. Bidirectional charging not only allows for charging but also for feeding power back into the building. This brings greater independence, lower electricity costs, and new opportunities. Stefan Petri, Managing Director of the Professional Association for Electrical and Information Technology in Hesse/Rhineland-Palatinate (FEHR), explains the technical and legal considerations. Following this, the two companies Abo Energy GmbH & Co. KGaA and Beckl Karosserie + Lack GmbH & Co. KG will share practical insights on how they specifically implement battery storage, photovoltaic systems, and e-mobility in their operations.

The webinar is a joint event organized by the Wiesbaden-Rheingau-Taunus District Craftsmen’s Association, the Wiesbaden Chamber of Crafts, the Wiesbaden Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and the Environmental Office of the State Capital of Wiesbaden.
