Three years of "watering baths"

The "gießbaden" project was launched in summer 2022: Using water from containers provided by the Parks Department, active people support the Parks Department in watering public spaces in the city.

In the "Gießbaden" project, a total of 90 active people support the employees of the Parks Department in watering public areas. In the first year, 15 containers with water were set up at various locations in the city, in the second there were already 35 - and now in the third year there are 40 gießbaden containers. They are refilled with service water once a week by the tree crew from the Parks Department. A container usually holds 1,000 liters. On average, 200 to 400 liters of service water are refilled each time. Tree sponsors take the water from these containers to supply the green spaces on their doorstep during the summer months.

Anyone interested in the topic can contact baummanagementwiesbadende by email. However, the project is so popular that there is already a waiting list.
