Reading: About life in the cities

On Friday, March 6, at 7 p.m., the environmental consultancy invites you to a reading "About life in the cities" at the Umweltladen.

Speaker, actor and director Armin Nufer

Why will almost 50 percent of the world's population soon be living in cities? What do they expect to gain from this, apart from work, social life, and culture? How do they get on with their fellow human beings, and how do they cope with traffic, noise, air quality, and housing shortages? What makes a city worth living in, and why don't we stay in the countryside, in nature, in villages?

Modern and classic authors explore the CITY AS A LIVING SPACE in a wide variety of ways.

Armin Nufer will present the texts and moderate the program.

The lecture is part of the current exhibition "The City as a Living Space – Every Square Meter Counts," which can be seen at the Umweltladen until March 20.
