Gräselberg Neighborhood Management and Gräselberg Disposition Fund
To ensure the participation and activation of Gräselberg's citizens, the Gräselberg district management accompanied the urban development process as a central and low-threshold contact point on site.
As an important interface between politics, administration, and the population, it strengthened the networking of local institutions and civil society actors. The neighborhood office was sponsored by the Regional Diakonie Wiesbaden Rheingau-Taunus.
The neighborhood management supported the "Gräselberg Committee" decision-making body in administering the Gräselberg discretionary fund. This fund enables residents to implement their own projects to promote their neighborhood. This strengthens local engagement in the long term and keeps the neighborhood lively, attractive, and livable.
Since neighborhood manager Angelika Wust entered her well-deserved retirement, the Gräselberg neighborhood center (opens in a new tab) has become the new point of contact for the local discretionary fund.
