The façade consists of folded aluminum in a gold finish. The building was designed as a passive house and is aimed at various user groups. Once completed, the new building will offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor uses. These include a hall with a stage for private parties, concerts, and larger events, a fully equipped exercise hall with a climbing wall, a workshop, a cultural room, and meeting rooms. The community center focuses on open work with children and young people. It also has a youth café, a boys' room and a girls' room for gender-sensitive work, and a reading room.

In addition, the Schelmengraben e.V. working group and the Schelmengraben district office, which are sponsored by BauHaus Werkstätten Wiesbaden GmbH, are located in the district center and use the building's suitable infrastructure for their administrative purposes.
