A central rental office was established in cooperation with the housing associations GWW and Nassauische Heimstätte. This office is located in the Office of Social Work, Department of Senior Services. It is also responsible for the city-owned housing complexes. In total, the rental office manages eleven senior living facilities for people aged 60 and older. Here, we answer all questions regarding housing for older adults. We also handle apartment placements and rental management. 

In some housing complexes, the Department of Senior Services offers additional programs. These include daily lunches and regular events. Such events include coffee afternoons, memory training, as well as Carnival and Christmas parties. Outreach office hours are also held by the counseling centers for independent living in old age.

Many apartments are publicly subsidized and are intended for people with limited financial resources. Eligibility is determined by the housing placement office; applications are also available from the Senior Services Department. You’ll find the contact information below. If you have an applicant number, you can contact the rental office. For privately funded housing complexes in the city of Wiesbaden, there is no need to apply through the housing placement office.
