Funding is awarded in accordance with the funding guidelines of the State Capital of Wiesbaden. Organizations that carry out nonprofit, charitable, social, cultural, and sports-related activities are particularly eligible to apply.

To receive funding from the city, all other available funding options from third parties—such as the European Union, the State of Hesse, or foundations and associations—must have already been exhausted.
