Integration courses BAMF
The integration courses run by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees offer the largest range of German language courses for immigrants.
Each integration course consists of a language course and an orientation course. In the language course, participants learn German up to Level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This level provides the foundation needed, for example, to communicate in everyday life, fill out forms, and look for work. The orientation course provides information about German history, culture, and the legal system.
Integration courses are fee-based, state-subsidized programs for learning German. Fee waivers may be available.
In Wiesbaden, the Wiesbaden German Service Center (opens in a new tab) or the migration counseling centers provide information on registering for integration courses, assistance in finding suitable integration courses, or answers to questions about funding.

The German Service Center can only be reached in person by appointment.
