4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: Designing Inclusive Living Spaces
How will we live together in a self-determined way tomorrow? A follow-up workshop for everyone who wants to make inclusive housing dreams a reality.
Design shapes how we live and breaks down barriers. Following the successful kickoff on June 12, 2026, i.hub—Living with Added Value (opens in a new tab)—is now taking the next step: What does a home look like where all people—whether with or without disabilities—can truly live self-determined lives together? You are cordially invited to actively help shape the social architecture of our future.
This time, the workshop will take place as a special highlight during the 2026 Housing Project Days in the state capital of Wiesbaden. Together with the association WOHN:SINN – Alliance for Inclusive Housing e.V., i.hub – Living with Added Value (opens in a new tab) is once again bringing together experts, interested individuals, and committed people to break down barriers—both in people’s minds and on the blueprint.

1:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.: "How Do I Get Started? From Idea to Implementation: Community Living from an Economic Perspective"
The interests of investors and housing project groups are not always easy to reconcile: The group wants rents that are as affordable as possible, plenty of space for community life, and, at the same time, the simplest and most secure path to owning the property. Economic conditions and individual expectations must be balanced.
Despite these challenges, numerous self-organized housing projects demonstrate that it is possible to realize one’s dream home even without investors. This talk aims to inspire and highlight the hurdles that must be overcome on the path to self-realized housing.
The central question is: How can this desire be transformed into a housing project that is actually financially viable and feasible?

The Housing Project Days are a place for exchange, networking and inspiration. Take the opportunity to ask your questions to Wiesbaden's housing project groups, initiatives and experts:
What ideas do I have about a housing project?
Am I open to a shared housing project?
What financing options and legal forms are there?
How do housing project groups deal with challenges?
What challenges are housing groups currently facing?
Can I possibly join a housing project that suits me?
