Summer is finally here - the perfect time to enjoy a barbecue with friends, discover nature by bike or go for a hike around Wiesbaden. So that you can enjoy your summer activities without a care in the world, we have put together some valuable tips in our latest newsletter on how you can pay attention to sustainability when barbecuing, keep your bike in good condition and keep stinging insects away. So nothing stands in the way of your carefree summer fun.
We would also like to invite you to visit the Umweltladen. Everything there revolves around sustainable clothing. Until July 25, take the opportunity to swap outdoor and sports clothing in good condition and save resources in the process. From July 28, the clothing swap for women's clothing will continue. This way you can find a new favorite item and make a contribution to environmental protection at the same time.

Maya the Bee is not the only one who still inspires people today. Learn exciting facts about the biology of bees on July 13: Communication through dance and sounds, organization as a state-forming insect, social way of life and worldwide kinship.

THE summer camp
Fancy the time of your life? Meet new people, celebrate the summer - right on your doorstep and free of charge! Three days of campfires, cool workshops and lots of fun await you at "DAS Sommercamp" from July 22-24. Experience nature together, cook over a fire, sleep in a tent and look at the stars. For everyone from 12 to 27 years old, barrier-free and open to everyone. Be part of it!
Save plastic" exhibition
Climate protection starts with us - with conscious consumer choices. The pop-up exhibition "Saving plastic" shows simple tips for low-plastic everyday life: from drinks packaging and cosmetics to washing without microplastics. There is practical information and interactive content via QR code at four stations. Join in and protect the environment!
