Changed emptying dates around the Easter holidays
Around Easter, the emptying dates of the waste disposal companies of the state capital Wiesbaden (ELW) are postponed.
Due to Good Friday, the emptying of all waste garbage cans (residual waste garbage can, organic waste garbage can, paper garbage can and recycling garbage can) will be brought forward by one day during Holy Week. This means that the bins that would be emptied on Monday will be emptied on the Saturday before. The changes are as follows:
from Monday, April 14, to Saturday, April 12,
from Tuesday, April 15, to Monday, April 14,
from Wednesday, April 16 to Tuesday, April 15,
from Thursday, April 17 to Wednesday, April 16,
from Friday, April 18 to Thursday, April 17.
In the week after Easter, the emptying of all waste garbage cans (residual waste garbage can, organic waste garbage can, paper garbage can and recycling garbage can) will be postponed by one day:
from Easter Monday, April 21, to Tuesday, April 22,
from Tuesday, April 22 to Wednesday, April 23,
from Wednesday, April 23 to Thursday, April 24,
from Thursday, April 24 to Friday, April 25,
from Friday, April 25 to Saturday, April 26.
The ELW Service Center will be available on Maundy Thursday, April 17, and Tuesday, April 22, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. to provide information and arrange bulky waste appointments.
