Local councils meet
The Mitte, Amöneburg, Biebrich, Nordost and Rheingauviertel/Hollerborn local advisory councils will be meeting next week. At the public meetings, citizens have the opportunity to ask questions before the agenda is taken up. Further information on the meetings can also be found at piwi.wiesbaden.de.
The Mitte local advisory council will meet on Tuesday, April 22 at 6.30 pm in room 22 of the town hall, Schlossplatz 6. The topics of the meeting are "Adelheidstraße - establishment of a bicycle lane", "European Youth Circus 2026, use of the Dernschen site", the local council's financial resources and the renaming of bus stops.
The meeting of the Amoeneburg local advisory council will take place on Tuesday, April 22 at 6.30 pm at the Johann Heinrich Wichern School, Dyckerhoffstrasse 22. Among other things, the members will discuss the topics "Expansion of the station-based car sharing service to the Amoeneburg district", "Biebricher Strasse cycle path marking at the Albertstrasse junction" and funding. In addition, a local court chairman and a local court juror will be newly elected.
The Biebrich local advisory council will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, April 23, 6.30 pm, in the meeting room (1st floor) of the Biebrich local administration, Rathausstraße 63. Topics to be discussed include the "Concept for parking in Biebrich", "Presentation of the KulturKaufHaus e.V. association" and recommendations from the traffic working group. A parliamentary group motion has been submitted on the "Status of the German Film and Media Rating (FBW) and 'Films in the Palace'".
The members of the North-East Local Advisory Council will meet on Wednesday, 23 April at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall, Room 22, Schlossplatz 6. The agenda includes the topic of "Creation of open channels after the separation of Wellritzbach and Kesselbach from the combined sewer system and upgrading of the flushing pipes - status of the combined sewer system" as well as the local advisory council's financial resources. Faction motions deal with topics such as "Completing the Kurhaus ensemble", "What can we do for you?" and "Old cemetery toilet signs".
The Rheingauviertel/Hollerborn local advisory council will meet on Thursday, April 24, 7 pm, at Wiesbadener Tafel e.V., Klarenthaler Straße 22a. Items on the agenda include the local council's financial resources, the renaming of bus stops and the parking situation in Lahnstraße. Motions from the parliamentary groups have been submitted on topics including "Orange The World", "Recommendation from the Historical Commission on the naming of the Gerhart Hauptmann School" and "Prevention of illegal parking, Dotzheimer Straße 80-82".
