Romantic chamber music and entertaining operetta sounds at the start of spring

On Wednesday, March 12, at 6:30 p.m., students from the Wiesbaden Music Academy will once again present their skills in the rotunda of Biebrich Palace, Rheingaustraße 140.

After the festive opening with music by Handel, the program includes chamber music and songs from the Romantic period with works by Rossini, Chopin, Wagner and Franck, among others. The second part leads into the colorful sound world of Impressionism and also includes original and atmospheric works of modern music. The evening will be rounded off with a "Singers' Festival" with operetta excerpts and Rossini again. Admission is free of charge. Donations for the musicians are requested. The concert is organized by the Wiesbaden Music Academy, the Landesbetrieb Bau und Immobilien Hessen (LBIH) and the Landesamt für Denkmalpflege Hessen.
