The space allocation plan was drawn up in close consultation with the users and the local advisory council. The planning status at the time was presented to the local advisory council and users back in the fall of 2024. Even at that time, it was clear that the planners had found a good solution for the various user groups on the Heerstraße site.

Lord Mayor Mende commented: "The long overdue new building for Nordenstadt is slowly becoming a reality. It is particularly important to me that we find good solutions together with the local council and the users that cover all user requirements. We have achieved this with the room program. The creation of a new community center is of considerable importance for Nordenstadt."

In future, the building complex will house a three-court sports hall, the fire station for the volunteer fire department, the local administration, a community hall and other club and storage rooms. The current parking spaces at the Taunushalle will also be adequately replaced.

In order to give as many interested citizens as possible the opportunity to view the results of the preliminary design planning, the most important information will be presented in the local administration in the coming weeks.

The mini-exhibition can be viewed between Thursday, March 6, and Thursday, March 20, during the usual opening hours of the local administration. Additional appointments will also be offered for personal discussions. Various contact persons from all those involved in the project will be available to talk to and answer questions. Mayor Mende will also be available to answer questions.
