Traffic restrictions around the Whitsun tournament in Biebrich

From Tuesday, May 6, to Tuesday, July 8, there will be traffic restrictions in Biebrich in the area of Am Parkfeld and the surrounding streets up to Albert-Schweitzer-Allee. This is due to the set-up, staging and dismantling of the Whitsun tournament in Biebrich Palace Park. There will also be road closures from Friday, June 6 to Monday, June 9. Access controls will take place from June 6. Cycle and pedestrian traffic may also be affected at times.

The Office for Road Traffic and City Police recommends driving well clear of the event area. Visitors to the tournament are requested to travel by public transport. Designated visitor parking spaces with shuttle bus connections are available for those arriving by car. Further information can be found at www.pfingstturnier.org/besucher/infos-zum-besuch. In addition, traffic obstructions are to be expected in the city center on Tuesday, June 3, due to the horse and carriage parade.

Those affected are asked for their understanding for the resulting restrictions.
