Traveling exhibition "EU on tour" opened at Zukunftswerk
To mark the nationwide Europe Weeks, Maral Koohestanian, Head of the European Affairs Department, opened the traveling exhibition "EU on tour - The EU at a glance" at the Zukunftswerk in the Luisenforum on Monday, May 19. The exhibition provides information on key topics of the European Union, including democracy, climate protection, migration and the European legislative process.
The exhibition is complemented by an interactive supporting program designed for young people aged 15 and over. Visitors can playfully test their knowledge of Europe, create their own contributions in the form of video statements or engage with the topic of Europe via a meme challenge.
"For young people in particular, Europe offers many opportunities to overcome their own boundaries and gain new perspectives. With this exhibition, we want to make this tangible and hope that the supporting program will make it both fun and thought-provoking," said Koohestanian at the opening.
The exhibition can be seen at the Zukunftswerk in the Luisenforum, Kirchgasse 6. It will be open on Monday, May 19, from 1 to 4 pm and from Tuesday, May 20, to Friday, May 23, from 9 am to 4 pm. Admission is free.
