Wiesbaden partner network: Positive balance after one year

One year after its foundation, Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH (WICM) has drawn a positive interim balance for the Wiesbaden Partner Network. Since its launch at the beginning of 2024, 23 players from the hotel industry, culture, business and urban development have joined - and the trend is rising.

"The Wiesbaden Partner Network is a strong marketing community that jointly promotes Wiesbaden as a business location," emphasizes Mayor Christiane Hinninger. "The growing number of new members shows how much potential there is in this collaboration."

The network is supported by the Wiesbaden Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Wiesbaden Wunderbar advertising association and various units of the city administration. The aim is to strengthen Wiesbaden as a tourism and event location. The main campaigns in 2024 included the "WIr lieben Kultur" campaign and a Christmas campaign that made cultural institutions, retailers and restaurants more visible via various media formats - including social media, outdoor advertising, print and radio.

Campaigns and activities are also planned for 2025. One highlight is participation in a nationwide campaign by Deutsche Bahn to promote sustainable travel. Together with the city of Frankfurt, Wiesbaden is promoting climate-friendly city experiences across all of Germany. The campaign was launched in April.

Urs von Kellenbach, Hotel Director at Motel One and spokesperson for the network, draws a positive conclusion: "Together with the support of WICM, we have been able to implement a number of important and far-reaching measures over the past year to promote, help shape and advance Wiesbaden as a tourist location and to make the new Wiesbaden partner network better known. This also includes our regular meetings and networking evenings, which are always very productive and constructive. I am delighted that we have grown into a strong, committed team and I am confident that we will be able to inspire even more members to join our work over the course of the year."
