Emser Straße closure: buses will be rerouted

The second construction phase on Emser Straße will begin on Tuesday, April 7. At this time, a detour will be set up and used to maintain the flow of traffic.

The update to the Rhein-Main Transport Association (RMV) timetable information is not expected to be available until Monday, April 13. This has been determined following consultation with the companies involved.

Line 1: Trips begin and end at the “Sedanplatz” stop. The “Dürerplatz” stop is not in service.

Line 3: Buses heading into the city will follow their usual route. They will stop at the regular “Dürerplatz” stop. The next stop is “Sedanplatz,” after which they will return to their normal route. The temporary “Dürerplatz” stop on Seerobenstraße will not be served. Outbound, buses will follow their usual route to “Sedanplatz.” They then stop at the temporary “Dürerplatz” stop on Seerobenstraße and continue from there via Albrecht-Dürer-Straße, serving the “Kesselbachstraße” and “Kreuzkirche” stops. From there, they resume their regular route to the Nordfriedhof.

Line 33: The “Dürerplatz” stop is omitted. Instead, Line 33 stops in both directions at the temporary stop “Dürerplatz” on Seerobenstraße.

Line N5: In the direction of Kohlheck, buses will run as usual to the “Sedanplatz” stop (toward Dürerplatz). There, they will turn around and then serve the “Sedanplatz” stop in the direction of downtown. They will then continue via Blücherstraße—similar to Line 14—to the regular “Hochschule RheinMain” stop. All stops along the modified route will be served.

Line N13: Buses will run to the “Sedanplatz” stop on their normal route. There, they will turn around and serve the “Sedanplatz” stop in the direction of downtown. They will then return to their regular route. The “Dürerplatz” stop is omitted.

These changes should be taken into account when planning trips, and extra time should be allowed if necessary.

Further general information is available at the timetable boxes at the affected stops. Current timetable information can also be found on the interactive route map at www.netzplan-wiesbaden.de (opens in a new tab). An overview of all detour notices is available at www.eswe-verkehr.de (opens in a new tab).

Timetable and fare information is also available via the Rhein-Main Transport Association hotline, which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at (069) 24248024.
