Public guided tour in the City Museum: "Tell me about Europe!"
As part of the exhibition "Tell me about Europe!", the Stadtmuseum am Markt (sam) invites you to a public guided tour of the special exhibition on Saturday, April 18, 2 pm.
This multimedia traveling exhibition showcases the European eyewitness project “European Archive of Voices” and brings together personal memories from across Europe. Portrait photographs by Berlin-based photographer Maximilian Gödecke engage in a dialogue with interview excerpts and themes from the archive, offering diverse insights into European life stories.
During the guided tour, visitors will gain insights into the background of the project and learn more about the stories of the European witnesses portrayed. The exhibition invites visitors to engage in conversation about Europe, its history, and its future.
Participation costs 4 euros per person. Registration is not required, but the number of participants is limited.
The traveling exhibition, which runs through Sunday, May 31, is being presented at the City Museum in cooperation with the Office of Social Work and features a comprehensive accompanying program. Those interested can find information on additional dates for the accompanying program at www.wiesbaden.de/kultur/kultur-erleben/museen-ausstellungen/sam/erzaehl_mir_von_europa_begleitprogramm (opens in a new tab).
