Applications may be submitted by individuals as well as groups, clubs, and initiatives that are voluntarily implementing a project in the field of environmental protection, nature conservation, or environmental education. 

Last year, 17 projects received a total of approximately 32,000 euros in funding. The funds were used, for example, to support a beekeeping project by the Mühlberg Allotment Garden Association and a biodiversity project by Antoniusheim Altenzentrum GmbH. School support associations are also eligible for grants, for example, to create a “green classroom,” carry out an orchard project, or build a dry stone wall.
