Full closure of Teplitzstraße in Biebrich
Teplitzstraße will continue to be fully closed from Breslauer Straße until probably Tuesday, May 19.
This is due to work being carried out by ESWE-Versorgungs-AG on a damaged gas line. There are also restrictions on Breslauer Straße. Traffic there is being controlled by a mobile traffic light system. As a result, it is not possible to exit Bunsenstraße onto Breslauer Straße.
The closure of Teplitzstraße and the partial closure of Bunsenstraße also affect bicycle traffic. Pedestrians can use their usual routes.
The city asks for your understanding regarding the traffic disruptions caused by the work.
The city regularly renovates roads, utility lines, and sewers. That is why there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden every year. A map showing selected projects is available at wiesbaden.de/baustellen (opens in a new tab). If buses are affected, ESWE Verkehr will provide information on detours at eswe-verkehr.de (opens in a new tab). All of this work is an investment in the future. Without these projects, major damage would occur sooner or later, leading to more severe traffic disruptions.
