Finissage of the exhibition "Tell me about Europe!"
With a finissage on Sunday, May 31, from 3 to 5 p.m., the "sam - Stadtmuseum am Markt" will bid farewell to the exhibition "Tell me about Europe!", which has been on display in the Marktkeller since March.
To mark the conclusion of the traveling exhibition, the City Museum invites visitors to a free curator-led tour of the exhibition at 3 p.m. Berlin-based photographer and curator Maximilian Gödecke will offer personal insights into the creation of his work and share stories of his encounters with European witnesses from various countries.
The exhibition is based on the European eyewitness project “European Archive of Voices” and combines portrait photographs with interview excerpts and themes from the archive. It brings personal memories from across Europe to light and invites visitors to engage with European history and the present. Following the tour, the closing event will conclude with a glass of sparkling wine and conversations about the exhibition.
