Kunsthaus Wiesbaden: Guided tours through "Memory in Action: Marcelo Brodsky"
On Sunday, May 17, at 2 pm and 4 pm, the Kunsthaus invites you to guided tours of the exhibition "Memory in Action: Marcelo Brodsky" with Jessica Neugebauer-Boscheck as part of "International Museum Day".
On display are around 100 works by the Argentine artist and human rights activist, whose work explores the reconstruction of memories, including “1968 – The Fire of Ideas,” “Africa in the Struggle for Freedom,” “Mandela,” and “Black Lives Matter.” Admission is free.
The theme of International Museum Day for 2026 is: “Museums uniting a divided world.” Every year, museums across Germany open their doors to the public—and the Kunsthaus is no exception. This year’s theme highlights the special role of museums in a time of global challenges and social tensions. Museums can build bridges—between generations, cultures, and different realities of life.
The exhibition “Memory in Action: Marcelo Brodsky” runs through Sunday, June 28. It is presented in cooperation with “Mishpocha: The Art of Collaboration” at the Jewish Museum Frankfurt, the Heinrich Böll Foundation Hesse, the Jewish Community of Wiesbaden, and as part of WDC 2026.
