City Museum: Guided tour through "Tell me about Europe!"

As part of the exhibition "Tell me about Europe!", the Stadtmuseum am Markt (sam) invites you to a public guided tour of the special exhibition on International Museum Day, Sunday, May 17, at 11:30 am. Participation in the guided tour is free of charge.

This multimedia traveling exhibition showcases the European eyewitness project “European Archive of Voices” and brings together personal memories from across Europe. Portrait photographs by Berlin-based photographer Maximilian Gödecke engage in dialogue with interview excerpts and themes from the archive, offering diverse insights into European life stories.

During the guided tour, visitors gain insights into the background of the project and learn more about the stories of the European witnesses portrayed.

The traveling exhibition of the European eyewitness project “European Archive of Voices” is being shown at the City Museum in cooperation with the Office for Social Work of the State Capital of Wiesbaden and features a comprehensive accompanying program. Information on additional dates for the accompanying program is available at www.wiesbaden.de/kultur/kultur-erleben/museen-ausstellungen/sam/erzaehl_mir_von_europa_begleitprogramm (opens in a new tab).
