Press release of the state capital Wiesbaden

Panel discussion on urban design and the future: “What difference can design really make?”

On Tuesday, September 15, at 7:00 p.m., the Stadtmuseum am Markt (sam), in collaboration with the Wiesbaden Architecture Center (WAZ), will host a panel discussion at Werkraum, Langgasse 5-9, on the topic “What Can Design Really Achieve?”

The collaboration between the City Museum and the WAZ brings together diverse perspectives from the fields of design, architecture, and urban planning. The panel discussion will feature Dr. Dirk Becker and Prof. Dr. Thilo Schwer, among others, as well as additional guests from academia, communication design, art, and architecture. The concept of “design” itself will also be up for debate: What impact can design actually have when it comes to the future of our cities?

The audience is invited to share their own perspectives and questions and join the discussion. Admission is free.
