During your apprenticeship, you’ll advise customers, calculate quotes, process bookings, and organize customized itineraries for guests and groups. You’ll work with modern booking and reservation systems and ensure that every stay in Wiesbaden is a special experience.

• You create tourism packages and varied itineraries.
• You book hotels and tourism services with external providers.
• You organize city tours and other tourist experiences.
• You provide expert, service-oriented advice and support to both private and business customers.
• You ensure that bookings and reservations are processed smoothly.
• You prepare invoices, quotes, and reports.
• You work with modern software, reservation, and AI-powered booking systems.

  In various departments with a focus on the tourism industry, such as Tourist Information Wiesbaden, the Group and Hotel Department, and City and Tourism Marketing.
  Internship at a travel agency
• Theoretical training: Bethmann School (opens in a new tab), Frankfurt 
• Exams: Intermediate exam in the 2nd year of training; written and oral final exams in the 3rd year of training.
• Opportunities for further education: e.g., tourism specialist, hotel management specialist, event manager, business administrator, marketing or social media manager, bachelor’s or master’s degree program

• Good secondary school diploma / High school diploma / Technical college entrance qualification
• Good English skills; knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus
• Enthusiasm and a service- and customer-oriented approach to work
• Ability to work in a team, flexibility, and reliability 

• Interest in organizing, as well as in tourism and the Wiesbaden region
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with people
• Interest in business and organizational tasks
